Lawmakers Set to Approve Budget Deal, Tax Cut

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): A state budget proposal that would cut the personal income tax five percent over the next four years faces final votes in the Indiana Legislature. The votes expected today by the House and Senate are likely formalities after legislative leaders and Governor Mike Pence reached a deal yesterday. An initial cut in income tax would take effect in 2015.
