Ligonier man arrested on child pornography charges

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – A Ligonier man was arrested on charges related to the possession of child pornography Thursday.

The investigation began at the end of July 2018, when the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Police obtained and served a search warrant Thursday around 8:15 a.m. at a Noble County residence.

Robert Paul Taylor, 25, was arrested and booked in the Noble County Jail. He faces the following charges:

  • Possession of Child Pornography, Level 6 Felony
  • Possession of Child Pornography (victims under age of 12), Level 5 Felony

Police are still investigating the incident, and more charges may be filed at a later date.
