Local Company sold in $350M Deal

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne company has been sold in a $350 million deal.

Swedish firm, NIBE, announced the deal to acquire WaterFurnance Renewable Energy earlier this week.

The company says the deal solidifies their North American market.

Both companies build geothermal heat pump and cooling systems. Company officials say its a strategic alliance for sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
