Man Arrested after Allegedly Flashing Handgun at Funeral

FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): A man is arrested after flashing a hand gun at the funeral of Montez Brooks.  According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, this afternoon Fort Wayne police were called to Brooks’ funeral service at the Union Baptist Church in south Fort Wayne.

Demondre Reeves was arrested just outside the church for possession of a gun without a license.

19-year-old Brooks was shot over the weekend after being dropped off at the hospital, but died shortly after.


Montez was a former football player at Bishop Luers.
