STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A man is arrested for failing to register as a sex offender. Back in 2003, now 55-year-old Jerry Haifley of Angola was convicted of sexual battery. He had been registering as a sex offender with the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, but recently failed to register as required by law. Haifley was arrested Wednesday, and is now in the Steuben County Jail.
