FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man arrested for stabbing his mother last month, has been charged with the crime. 25-year old Brian Abernathy now faces felony battery and resisting law enforcement for attacking his mother and stabbing her in the neck. According to the Journal-Gazette, Abernathy told officers he heard voices and was afraid people were after him.
