Man who collapsed after running from police dies

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man who collapsed after leading police on a brief foot chase Sunday has died.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office says 38-year-old Brent Graber of Peru, Indiana died Monday.

He was involved in an altercation with Fort Wayne police outside an auto parts business on Moeller Road Sunday, where he fled from officers who were looking to arrest him on a warrant.

He collapsed after police caught up to him, and was sent to a local hospital in critical condition, where he remained until his death. What caused it is still pending further investigation.
