FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Tom Henry joined with local law enforcement officials to kickoff the Round Table on Public Safety.

The panel included Fort Wayne Police Chief Garry Hamilton, Public Safety Director Rusty York and Allen County Sheriff-Elect Dave Gladieux. They say it will keep lines of communication open and strong and promote even stronger partnership.

The group will continue to meet over the next several months. In a released statement,Henry said, the partnership is already seeing a decline in homicides and in robberies and burglaries.
