FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Tom Henry is set to deliver his seventh state of the city Wednesday.  He’s expected to reflect on the successes of 2013, along with upcoming challenges and opportunities.

He’ll likely talk about a a major development to the downtown: Ash Brokerage.  That project will pump more life into downtown.

The discussion will include talk of city budgets and city infrastructure improvements, including streets and roads.

He’ll lay out public safety strategies including the addition of new police and firefighters and restoration of a public safety director position.

The talk is open to the public and free, but you’ll need to be seated by 11:45 a.m.
