Celina, Oh. (WOWO): Mercer County Sheriff Doug Timmerman tells WOWO News that his office is aware of and investigating numerous drone sightings that have occurred over the past several nights.

Timmerman has made surrounding county law enforcement in Ohio and Indiana aware of the sightings and is working with Federal Authorities.

He says the origin and purpose of the drones is undetermined and askes residents to gather any information, including video that they can – but says not to try to pursue the drones.
