MI. (WOWO) — A 23-year-old man is facing criminal sexual conduct charges after allegedly admitting to a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Police say Timothy Alan Warthen II was found with the girl inside a parked vehicle near the MLK Jr. Pedestrian Bridge on August 30.

Warthen told officers the two were dating.

He also worked part-time as a crossing guard at Ida Public Schools, which says he has since been fired.

Warthen is in jail on $100,000 bond.
