Moving Day for St. Joseph Elementary School in Monroeville

MONROEVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): The moving day is here for students and staff of St. Joseph Elementary School in Monroeville. Friday, children, teachers, and staff will move from their old school to the Monroeville Elementary School building which was bought this year from the East Allen County School District. The procession will start at 1:00 P.M., along with a blessing of the backpacks. Then, the group will walk approximately ¼ mile to the new school. On Saturday, students from Bishop Luers will help move items to the new school. Next Monday will bring the first day of classes in the new facility. Bishop Kevin Rhoads will visit and officially bless the new school on Thursday, December 5th.
