Muncie Man Killed in NE Indiana Left Prison in June

ANGOLA, Ind. (AP) _ Indiana prison records show a Muncie man fatally shot in northeastern Indiana had been paroled about a month earlier.
 
  Indiana Department of Correction records show 29-year-old Ruben Wayne Sanchez Jr. of Muncie was released June 8 after serving concurrent 12-year terms on five criminal confinement convictions from 2004.
 
  He was found suffering from gunshot wounds Sunday outside a home near Jimmerson Lake, about 40 miles north of Fort Wayne. He later died at a Fort Wayne hospital.
 
  The Star Press reports the man arrested on a preliminary charge of murder in the shooting, 28-year-old Mark Zachary Hines of Fremont, is a former Muncie resident.
 
  Hines was being held without bond Monday in the Steuben County Jail in Angola. It's not clear whether he has an attorney.
