INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Police are asking pawn shops and gold buyers to be on the lookout following the theft of nearly $1 million worth of jewelry from an Indianapolis home.

WRTV-TV reported Friday that the stolen items included a diamond bracelet valued at more than $25,000, a gold watch valued at nearly $40,000, and an antique Winchester lever-action rifle valued at $10,000.

Investigators say the burglary occurred about mid-day on Jan. 23.

Police are asking pawnshops, gold buyers and jewelers to call Crime Stoppers if they encounter any of the pieces.
