FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A crowded race for City Council is getting more crowded.

Michael Barranda will formally announce he's running for City Council at-large Tuesday afternoon.

He's a Fort Wayne attorney and a former candidate for Indiana Senate in the 84th District. Nine other candidates, including incumbent John Crawford have officially filed to run for the position.

Tuesday morning, Local restaurateur Pam Downs filed in the Democratic Primary to represent Fort Wayne's Third City Council District.   Downs is a graduate of Fort Wayne's North Side High School and The New York Restaurant School where she studied Culinary Arts.
