New Haven Bank Robbery Suspect in Custody

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): A  New Haven bank robbery suspect is custody another is on the run.

Police in say one of two men who robbed the Fifth Third Bank Tuesday afternoon is now charged with the crime. A vehicle connected to the heist was found at an apartment complex in that community.

When they went the home they took 29-year-old Lonnie Jackson into custody for questioning. He later confessed to the crime.

Another man, 38-year-old Lee Church remains at large. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous. The FBI, Fort Wayne's violent crimes unit and the Allen County drug task force are assisting in the case.
