2017 Winter predicted to be “exceptionally cold, snowy”

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): “Exceptionally numbing cold and snowy.”

That’s the prediction for the winter of 2017 by the latest edition of the Old Farmer’s Almanac. Editor Sandi Duncan tells WOWO news their predictions have a pretty good track record:

“According to people who monitor our forecast daily, we have an 80% accuracy rate,” Duncan says. “November looks like it’s going to get cold and feel winter-like. December won’t be too bad, but we’ll see frigid conditions in January and February. February will be the worst.”

As for next summer, expect weather that’s both warm and soggy.
