Northeast Indiana Unemployment Rates Dip


INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Unemployment continues to drop in Allen County.

New jobless numbers released by Indiana's department of workforce development show unemployment in April in the region dropped to 4.2 percent.

That's drop of 1.2 percent from this time last year.

That's also a drop of 1.4 percent from the previous report in March when unemployment was at 5.6 percent.

 In April LaGrange County had the lowest in the area at 3.2 percent. Blackford County is the highest in the region at 5.6 percent.
