FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — This new section, called the “Golden Spike Section” after the Transcontinental Railroad, would link existing trails to create 115 miles of interconnected paths across the county, according to Fort Wayne Trails.

To build this new trail segment, adjustments would be needed on several busy Fort Wayne roads, including Coliseum Boulevard, Lima Road, and Washington Center Road.
