FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – One person is dead after a shooting in Fort Wayne early Sunday morning.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Fairfield Ave. and W. Paulding Road. 

The Fort Wayne Police Department arrived to find a man inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. 

Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

There are currently no suspects in custody, and detectives are searching for any evidence and surveillance video.
