ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Police in St. Joseph County are investigating after a woman called to say her son had stabbed her husband.

Officers went to the Castle Point Apartments complex around 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, where they found a man who had been stabbed in the chest.

That man – later identified as 34-year-old Lee Alexis – was taken to the hospital, but he did not survive. His stepson, 21-year-old Corey Young, was arrested at the scene.

At this time, it is not clear what led to the stabbing.
