Pastor Arrested on Molestation Allegations

Police arrested a Fort Wayne pastor based on allegations that he repeatedly molested a foster child who was in his care.  According to the Journal Gazette, James Burton was booked into the Allen County Jail yesterday on four counts of felony child molesting. Burton had been serving as pastor of Greater Faith Baptist Church.  He’s is accused of inappropriately touching a girl under the age of 14 between June of 2009, and January of this year.  The victim said the abuse began when she was 6 or 7 years old.  Burton was being held in lieu of $70,000 bail.
