Pence Set for Trips to Washington, Florida this Month

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be spending plenty of time traveling out of state the rest of this month.

Pence says he'll be heading to Washington for the National Governors Association meeting that starts Friday and includes events at the White House with President Barack Obama on Sunday and Monday.

The governor will be on a more political trip the following weekend: He's scheduled to speak Feb. 27 at the Conservative Political Action Conference in suburban Washington. Pence will then head to Florida to speak the following day at a gathering of the conservative Club for Growth that is drawing several other potential Republican presidential candidates.

Pence says he'll decide after the Indiana legislative session ends in late April whether to enter the presidential race.
