WHITING, Ind. (AP): The travel website TripAdvisor has included a northwest Indiana festival on its list of 10 bizarre festivities. Pierogi Fest will be held in Whiting later this month for the 19th year. About 275,000 people are expected to attend the event. The festival celebrates the region's cultural heritage and home-cooked food.
