Plans for New McMillen Center Revealed

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): New life for a city landmark. 

Mayor Tom Henry and other city officials unveiled plans for the McMillen Park Community Center. The center will renovate the former ice arena into a facility for sports, fitness, recreation and community programs. The project is expected to cost about $2 million dollars from the City Light Legacy Fund.. 

Henry says the development will have a “transformational impact on our community.” You’ll have a chance to take a look at the plans in a meeting next Monday at the old arena, it gets started at 6 p.m.
