Police: 2 missing women’s cases unrelated so far…

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Authorities investigating the disappearances of two women in the Evansville area say there's no evidence yet that the cases are related.

Twenty-seven-year-old Kristy Kelley of Boonville was last seen leaving a veterans lodge in that city around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Evansville resident Joelle Lockwood, 30, was reported missing last month. Evansville Police Department Sgt. Jason Cullum told the Evansville Courier & Press that investigators working on the Lockwood case have been in contact with Warrick County authorities handling the Kelley case.

WFIE-TV reports more than 600 people showed up Monday to search for Kelley. WEHT-TV reported Tuesday that flyers with her name and photograph have been posted around Boonville, about 15 miles east of Evansville, and a vigil is planned for Wednesday evening.
