Police Identify Body Found in Rural Indiana Area

KENNARD, Ind. (AP) _ State police say an autopsy has identified the body found over the weekend in rural central Indiana as that of an Indianapolis man.

Police say the death of 23-year-old Zackery Soots is being investigated as a homicide but didn't give reasons for that determination.

Police say Soots' body was spotted Sunday evening by a person walking along a rural road near the Henry County town of Kennard, about 25 miles east of Indianapolis.
