Police Officer Charged With Drunk-Driving In Cruiser

person driving car during daytime

CICERO, Ind. (WOWO) — A police officer in Cicero has been charged with drunk driving in his police cruiser.

Court documents say Captain Ed Hodson is now facing the charges as police in Noblesville have been investigating a crash in which Hodson ran his marked police SUV into a rock and a cable box on Christmas Day.

His wife, Lora Hodson, is also charged with lying to police for saying that she was the one driving when the crash happened, which wasn’t the case.

Witnesses say they saw Ed Hodson get out of the drivers’ side of the car soon after the crash happened.
