Polish Ensemble Performing Free Shows In Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) _ A Polish group is performing free shows in Fort Wayne to celebrate the 25-year sister city exchange between the Allen County seat and Plock, Poland.

The Plock Wisla Song and Dance Ensemble held its first performance Friday night in front of a crowd at the Crazy Pinz entertainment center.

Ensemble director Andre Ejonyszko tells WPTA-TV (http://bit.ly/1HvhMgO ) “the neatest part is the ability to experience American life.'' He says ensemble members are staying with host families, so they gain exposure to American culture.

The group's next performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foellinger Theatre.
