Proposal would build solar farm in southeast Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Southeast Fort Wayne could soon be the home of a solar farm.

Black and White Investments LLC is reportedly looking for permission from the city’s Board of Zoning Appeals to set up a ground-mounted solar array, according to the News-Sentinel, within the Posterity Heights project that’s currently under construction.

The apparent plan is to help those living at the Posterity Scholar House with their utility costs through using solar to reduce electric bills.

The proposal could be considered next month.
