Rape victim, 93, tells story to help others…

ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) _ A 93-year-old Anderson woman who was raped in her home in July says she's taking her story public in hopes of helping other victims of sexual assault.

Amelia Rudolf tells The Indianapolis Star she didn't want to talk about the July 16 attack at first but decided she wanted others to know that sex crimes can occur against anyone.

A 17-year-old teenager from her neighborhood has been charged in the attack and will be tried as an adult. He denies the charges.
Rudolf hasn't returned to the house she shared with her late husband for nearly six decades since the assault.

But she has spent her time making happier memories with her family and attending church and playing bingo. She's also been honored by the Indianapolis Colts.
