Remembering a Bishop Dwenger Student

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mourners paid their final respects during a burial service this afternoon at Highland Park Cemetery, for 17-year-old Haley Nellum.

She was a sophomore at Bishop Dwenger High School and played volleyball and basketball for the school.

She was killed in the early morning hours of March 29th when 35-year-old Jeremy Washington was speeding away from a shooting at the Coroner Pocket pub. He slammed his car into Nellum's after ignoring a red light.

Her funeral was held this morning at 10:30 a.m., at St. Charles.
