Response-To-Active Threats Training For The Ohio Tactical Team Took Place At Van Wert Elementary School Recently

VAN WERT, Ohio. (WOWO) — The Ohio Tactical Officers Association trained various Police and Sheriff’s Departments from the western part of the state.

As reported by The Crescent News, the 16-hour course equipped tactical teams and personnel to effectively manage active threat situations, primarily focusing on saving lives.

The program consists of hands-on tactics, critical decision-making, and the lawful use of force and de-escalation strategies.
