FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Today's public meeting of the Downtown Riverfront Study has been cancelled, however Thursday's meeting remains on the schedule.

The meeting will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at the downtown Public Library.

The City of Fort Wayne has teamed up with SWA Group to review ways to revitalize and develop the downtown waterways to invigorate the community. At the meetings, the public have chance to pitch their ideas to help consultants develop ideas and strategies. Officials say it will be a “roadmap for world class investment.”

The process is one step closer to move ideas from the retail and recreation brainstorming stage to reality.
