WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): A court hearing was waived by the two defendants in a Kosciusko County case of bribery, intimidation, and misconduct.

Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine and Grace College Professor Mark Soto were not in court for their initial hearings Thursday morning after being indicted by a grand jury. Both men waived their right to the hearing.

Rovenstine has been indicted on 10 felony charges, including bribery, intimidation and official misconduct. Soto was indicted on three charges of corrupt business influence and three counts of intimidation.

The next step in the process will be pre-trials for the men, scheduled for the afternoon of May 9. Also involved in the case is Kevin Bronson, who is currently serving a sentence in Kosciusko County Jail.
