WASHINGTON (WOWO): This month marks the 50th anniversary or the longest running Holiday TV special in history—Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

In recognition of the Christmas show, a set of four Limited Edition Forever stamps depicting Rudolph, Hermey, Santa and Bumble were created. According to press release issued by the United States Postal Service, the stamp images were crafted from still television frames from the special, which premiered on December 6th, 1964.
