Rush Selected as Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Loretta Rush has been selected as Chief Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court. He is the first female in Indiana history to lead the court.

Rush was appointed to the high court by Governor Mitch Daniels in 2012.

She previously served for 14 years as a Superior Court Judge in Tippecanoe County.

The 56-year old Rush is a graduate of both Indiana and Purdue universities.
