Search Warrant at Taylor Street Home Nets Two Arrests

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A search warrant conducted by Fort Wayne narcotics teams at a Taylor Street home, led to the arrest of two people.

 

During the search Wednesday morning, teams found three pit bulls, synthetic drugs and numerous pills.

 

The condition of the home was also stated to “substandard.” It had numerous sanitation problems including dog feces throughout the home and in the bedroom where two 13-year-olds were living. Code enforcement was called and they recommended the house be condemned.

 

The Department of Child Services was also contacted and they will be placing the two teenagers found in the home.

 

At the end of the search, 18-year-old Justin Edwards was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, a class-D felony. He’s being held on a $500.00 bond.

 

39-year-old Sarah Edwards was also charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a synthetic drug, and violation of home detention.
