Semi Crash On Indiana Toll Road Seriously Injures One

ORLAND, Ind. (WOWO): A large semi accident on the Indiana Toll Road slowed traffic for much of Sunday morning.

Around 11:30 a.m. Orland emergency personnel were called to the 137.5 mile marker on the eastbound side of the Indiana Toll Road. A multiple semi accident had two people pinned inside. The crews had to call for extra help from the Fremont Fire Department.

They say three sets of extrication tolls were used on one of the patients. The driver of one of the semi's was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital with serious injuries, while the other had non-serious injuries and was transported to a LaGrange hospital.
