FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Both garbage and recycling collection in the City of Fort Wayne will be delayed on Monday due to the heavy snowfall.
<br /> Both the garbage and recycling will run one day behind for the rest of the week, with Friday's collection happening on Saturday. Frank Suarez, director of public information with the City of Fort Wayne now says plow trucks are entering neighborhoods to clear side and residential streets.  Crews will work through the night to finish plowing our neighborhoods.

They warn that main roads have been plowed and salted, but to still use caution as some areas but have thick packed down snow and ice that may be slick.
