FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): While Fort Wayne Community School students are enjoying spring break this week, there's some bad news about their upcoming summer vacation: this could be their shortest summer break ever. For the 2015-2016 school year, FWCS will follow suit of other local districts and start classes a week earlier, that according to The Journal Gazette. Officials say the new August 11 start date will help the district better adjust to cancellations due to weather, and prepare students for standardized testing.
