FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne police are investigating after a man was shot on Coliseum Boulevard Thursday.

Police were called to the 1000 block of N. Coliseum Blvd., south of Lake Avenue, on reports of shots fired around 1 p.m.

An investigation revealed a man was grazed by gunfire after a disagreement with another man in the area. As he began to run from the scene, he was struck by a car.

After he was struck, he fled the scene and was picked up by a friend and transported to a local hospital where he was initially listed in serious condition. He was later upgraded to fair condition and released.

Police are still investigating the incident, and no further information has been provided at this time.
