State Lawmaker Accuses Gov. Mitch Daniels of Breaking Ethics Rules

“Partisan nonsense.” That’s how Governor Mitch Daniels’ spokeswoman characterizes a state lawmaker’s call for an ethics investigation of Daniels’ new job leading Purdue University. State Representative Charlie Brown says Daniels broke ethics rules by using a government email list to comment on nearly $400,000 in renovations to the Purdue president’s office that he will be taking over at the first of next year.
