Teen Rescued in Steuben Crash

SNOW LAKE, Indiana (WOWO) Rescuers had to free a Fremont teen from a truck after a Friday night crash in northern Steuben County.

Steuben County Sheriff's deputies say a pickup truck driven by 17-year-old Madison Funk collided with a car driven by 21-year-old Lyndsey Boyd of Coldwater, Michigan.

The impact pushed the Funk's truck into a nearby cornfield.

Both were taken to a Fort Wayne hospital. Authorities say Funk may have suffered a head injury. Boyd had pain to her arm and leg.

Police say both were wearing seatbelts.
