ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO): An Elkhart company that’s one of the biggest names in the RV industry just bought a major competitor.

Thor Industries has announced they now own Middlebury-based Jayco Corp in a $576-million deal. Inside Indiana Business reports that the deal includes the Jayco, Starcraft RV, Highland Ridge and Entegra Coach brands, as well as Jayco’s travel trailers, folding camping trailers and motorhomes.

Jayco’s senior management team will remain in place, according to Thor CEO Bob Martin, who calls Jayco a company he has admired for more than 20 years.
