FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Another Three Rivers Festival is in the books, as the annual Fort Wayne celebration wrapped up Saturday night.

Director Jack Hammer tells WOWO news attendance was good:

“We have found that so far, we were up in concessions, we were up in many activities, we put over 5,000 people on the rivers the first weekend, so I think we’ll be close to a half-million this year,” Hammer said.

Hammer says that number will be more finalized in a couple of weeks, and he credits good entertainment and great weather for the turnout.

Official, finalized turnout numbers will be released in a couple of weeks.
