FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Last week Parkview Field was named the # 1 Ballpark in Minor League Baseball by Stadium Journey and this week, Mike Nutter, Fort Wayne TinCap's President, released a statement about the ranking.

He said the ranking would not have been achieved without the support of Fort Wayne.

“I told everyone that inquired, that this is a very special place. It’s special because our city is headed in the right direction. We have an amazing ballpark that is truly supported by our fans, sponsors, MLB affiliate, media, and supporters. Simply put, to be No. 1 for the third time in four years is very special. We take a lot of pride in Parkview Field and never stop appreciating the way our team has been embraced in our community.”
