ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO) – Trine University’s 11th annual PB+J-A-Thon took place last week, making more than 600 lunch bags for the students of Timothy L. Johnson Academy, an Education One-sponsored public charter school.

Students joined in Whitney Commons on Jan. 16 to put the bags together, and the Trine Student Government members delivered the bags the next day.

The tradition, which dates back to 2014, has grown over the years, with cheer, dance, football and academic teams and students all coming together to continue.

Trine University says over 150 students came together to put together the lunch bags this year.
