Up to $25,000 for Info in Post Office Robbery


FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who attempted to rob the Diplomat Post Office, on Diplomat Plaza Center.  

The attempted robbery happened around 3:30 p.m., on December 19, 2012. 

One suspect has been arrested, but police are still on the hunt for the other. He is described as: 

SUSPECT #1 – Arrested 01-02-13
SUSPECT #2 – A black male, in his early 20’s, around  6’3” with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and he was armed with a gun. 

Police want to remind you take no action to apprehend this person yourself, but if you do have any information about this incident or the suspect contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 260-271-4709.
