FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person is under arrest after update after a shooting on Lillie Street. Fort Wayne Police have arrested William E. Martin of Fort Wayne. Martin faces a preliminary charge of aggravated battery. According to Public Information Officer Mike Joyner, there had been a dispute between the victim and Martin over a prior vandalism and a female, which resulted in shooting. The victim's name has not been released.

Just after 2 this morning, Fort Wayne Police responded to Lillie Street on report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and found a man in the alley between Lillie Street and Winter Street. Police said it looked like the victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition. When they got there, the victim was pronounced dead.
